Matt Bivens, MD
Dr. Bivens is board-certified in emergency medicine and works in the emergency departments of St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA, and of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is also the St. Luke’s Hospital EMS Medical Director, and works with paramedics handling thousands of 911 calls a year. He is an instructor in clinical medicine, part-time, with Harvard Medical School.
Victor Pinkes, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Pinkes is board-certified in emergency medicine and is the chair of the emergency department at Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. He holds an academic appointment at Brown University School of Medicine. He has worked in and managed emergency departments throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Svetlana Bivens manages the business aspects of the practice, including financial matters and patient scheduling. She has master’s degrees in math, physics and business management.
Barbara Roderick, NP
Barbara Roderick is a nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatry and substance abuse issues. She has extensive experience managing psychiatric and substance abuse patients in the St. Luke’s emergency department, and also works at the High Point substance abuse treatment center.
